What Christmas is REALLY all about!

Hi Everyone!
I experienced a "True Meaning of Christmas" moment this season. A wonderful on-line group, extended family really, I belong to, really showed me how terrific these people are, and what Christmas is really all about!

One of our members was experiencing personal hard times and was about to lose their home to the Scrooge-like mortgage folks on the eve of Christmas!  This diverse group of people, most of which have never met each other, immediately sprang to the rescue and began to send whatever amounts of money they were able (some small, some larger) as their "Gift" to this member, wanting NOTHING in return except to hear that their home was saved!  From all of these gifts, our member not only saved their home, but was able to preserve utilities, and obtain much needed meds to stay healthy!  Needless to say, they had the Best Christmas EVER!  Knowing that you are not alone, and that friends come in all forms, is the Best Gift! 

It was a truly heart warming experience to see this outpouring of love and support from basically, total strangers!!  The spirit of Christmas and the best of the human spirit is alive and well in our troubled world!
