Florida Treasure Hunters but I took Day Off Thursday!

Hi Everyone

For some reason Blogger is unavailable so I am not sure when I can post this from my Word program.   Today is Friday 13^th and I took the day off, yesterday, in fabulous Florida to finally set foot on the beach and bask in the sun by the pool for a little while but the 3 other Treasure Hunters made the trek to New Smyrna Beach to meet up with Holly and Avery’s friend Barb to do some more mega-Hunting!  The most intense yet, they told me upon their return because Barb had mapped a route with times  allotted to each stop!  They filled another rolling wooden bin to come upstairs and were gone past dinner time, but were kind enough to bring me some food!  Lovely shrimp and key lime pie! Yummy!  Melissa found a Steiff for .50 cents!  Woo Hoo!  A Macki Hedgehog Doll!  I am sure that someone will have to rent a U-Haul trailer to get their treasures home for this trip!

I was restrained, and managed to uncover mostly smaller items on this trip, and have only one 9x9x9 box that needs to be mailed home, and everything else has been packed (tightly) into my two suitcases!  It took me 2 hours to pack yesterday, but it is DONE and Melissa will drive me to Orlando airport this morning for my flight home to Canada.  Now what do I tell customs is in my TWO suitcases for a 9 day trip?  Hopefully, I’ll have an agent that isn’t very curious!

All this went into my luggage! 

Not that I need any more treasures, but I am getting up bright and early tomorrow to go garage sale-ing! It is my favourite garage sale stop of the beginning of summer, so I HAVE  to go.  Stay tuned for more fabulous finds!

Later.....I am now at Orlando airport and have been able to upload the above couple of pics.  Its a very slow connection so I won't attempt more at this point!  My one biggest suitcase was 4.5 lbs overweight at 54.5 lbs but they allowed it...PHEW!  I put most of my jewelry finds in my carryon, so someone had to hand search it since it showed on X-ray as a big lump of metal they couldn't see through but there was no problem.
