I leave the sunshine state of Florida tomorrow morning, and have spent today trying to pack!! I found soooooo many unique and fabulous items in my hunting here, that I had to buy another (vintage) suitcase and I STILL have to ship one parcel home via USPS!! You will be so surprised at the wonderful items I will have to offer once I sort and get them photographed, researched and listed! My finds are antique, vintage, & modern....many kitschy items, gorgeous jewelry & watches, dolls (composite, celluloid, vinyl, felt, soft, collectible, limited edition & more - Madame Alexander, Ginny/Vogue, foreign....), doll clothes (for baby dolls, many labelled clothes, some handcrafted from vintage materials, Barbie, & many doll accessories ++++), plush (vintage & modern characters), vintage handbags (telephone cord, lucite, leather, Disney, even Davy Crockett), figurines (CT, Rinconada, Made in Japan), games, vintage photo & travel postcards, vintage sewing patterns, USA Olympic pins spanning many years, perfume bottles, scarves, shawls, neckties, seasonal items, and included in many of those categories are Disney & Designer items! Some things may stay in my own collections, at least for awhile!!
What a great experience! Seeing new things, site-seeing, walking on the beach and antiquing & flea market-ing! I highly recommend the experience, but do caution on the AMOUNT of items! I admit I was a little panicky when I laid everything out and realized it wouldn't fit in 2 suitcases! I concentrated on smaller items, but larger items crept into the mix when it was something I just couldn't pass up!
