Hi Everyone!
I had to show you a glimpse of the Treasures I brought home from Florida with me! I am only just beginning to sort and research, a very slow process, but thought a teaser would be fun!
Apparently, I brought the steamy hot Florida weather home with me to Canada, and without AC it has been a very sticky week! Extremely difficult to function and move around when it's 150,000 degrees! Several cool showers a day helps, but it sure slows the system down!

Lucite Box Purse
Rex Fifth Avenue
Made in the USA in the 1940's, stylish ladies compacts and compact sets, often using interesting materials because of the drive to save steel and other metals for the war effort, these compacts are now highly sought after by collectors. This particular example is made from faille, a rugged textured material in a colourful cheerful stripe, and brass is the metal for the trim on the sides of the case, on the top of the comb, to form the lipstick case, and for the construction of the body of the compact. In very good collectible condition! Includes an UNUSED powder puff, in a rich peach velvet with "Rex Fifth Avenue" embossed in gold and the powder screen!

Vintage Vinyl Stuffed Animal
Made between the 1950's to 1970's, these high quality vinyl stuffed animals are very detailed and extremely cute! Unfortunately, no labels to attribute a maker, this French Bulldog is still a great example and a popular breed! Tight stitching and firmly stuffed, he has a great expression on his face and lovely details of a molded nose and black & white googly eyes!
